Design revolution and migration from Salesforce to Shopify Plus for Nordic beauty brand Lumene

Born in 1970, beauty brand Lumene is named after Lake Lummenne in Kuhmoinen, Central Finland.

Lumene is recognised worldwide for its use of Finnish water, which is amongst the purest in the world, as well as wildcrafted Nordic ingredients including berries, seeds, plants tree saps and mushrooms.

All have evolved over thousands of years to survive unbroken winter darkness followed by months of continuous summer sun. It’s this sunlight that gives the ingredients their potent natural actives.

Lumene approached By Association Only to migrate its existing store from Salesforce to Shopify.

The brand also wanted to design a new serene site that reflects its Nordic love of the environment and tells the story of its natural ingredients.
